Independent Unit

7th Grade-4th Hour

• You will be selecting a book that interests you, is at an appropriate independent reading level for you, as well as an appropriate length for the duration on this unit.
• You will be held accountable for your independent reading through a variety of blog posts that will answer a variety of in class discussion questions and activities.
• You will have time in class to read and complete the assignments.  Every Friday/Monday, you will have Chromebooks available for you to update your blogs.
• If you chose to use your time unwisely, after 3 warnings you will lose the privilege to complete this assignment in class and will have a plethora of busy work to keep you from distracting others, you will still be responsible for the listed assignments below as homework.

All assignments will be submitted and graded through the link you provided at the start of the unit. You need to chose a book that you will be able to finish by Feb. 3.  You will then have one week Feb. 6-10 to prepare individual book projects which you will present Feb. 13-16. Unit Worth 215 points.
